The first volume will focus primarily on the conspiracy aspect of the show, featuring interviews with Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Chris Carter, and more, as well as some useful information about "how to become the next Mulder and Scully." The second volume will center around the villains, highlighting the monster-of-the-week aspect that was just as important to the show as the overarching mythology. It also includes interviews with the most classic and disturbing villains, such as Doug Hutchison (Eugene Victor Tooms), Nick Chinlund (death fetishist Donnie Pfaster), and John Trottier (inbred mutant George Peacock).

The first volume of the X-Files collection comes out on January 5, 2016, but is available for pre-order on Amazon now, while the second volume comes out on March 8, 2016.
