New Batman Action Figure Confirms Rumor of Dream Sequence In Batman v Superman
Not long after the latest trailer for Batman v Superman was released, rumors about the footage started circulating among different entertainment/news websites. One of these rumors was that some of the footage seen in the trailer was actually part of a dream sequence, and based upon the title of this new action figure on display at New York Comic Con, it looks like the rumor was right.

The action figure, which is being called 'Knightmare Batman,' clearly shows the Caped Crusader in his desert gear from the Comic-Con trailer. The scenes from the trailer in which the Batman wears this gear feature him being held down by some sort of soldiers with Superman insignias on their shoulders. If one takes a closer look at the scene, it would seem as though Batman is snapping one of the soldier's necks - which is not something fans would expect from a character whose 'no killing' rule has been such a big part of his mythos for such a long time. 'Tis but a dream, however, so even if he truly does pull a Superman and snap someone's neck (too soon?), he's not actually killing anybody.

A dream sequence involving General Zod and Superman played a prominent part in the DCEU's first film, Man of Steel, so it'll be interesting to see how the new dream sequence will come into play in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The fact that this also confirms one of the many rumors concerning the film is also enough to make one wonder what other rumors could be true as well.

Batman v Superman is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
