Freaks of Nature Red Band Trailer Features Zombies, Vampires, Aliens, and a Lot of Dumb Humor
The red band trailer for Freaks of Nature, previously called Kitchen Sink, has hit the internet, and it looks pretty terrible. But, on the plus side, it has zombies, vampires, and aliens to keep you occupied, even when the laughs are few and far between:

The premise is actually full of potential: in the town of Dillford, Ohio, vampires, zombies, and humans co-exist (almost) peacefully, until an alien invasion throws everything off kilter and everyone starts eating each other. This could be a recipe for a great horror comedy, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be funny. There were a couple of mildly funny moments in the trailer, but not nearly funny enough, especially considering that the funniest moments of a comedy usually end up in a trailer. I liked the "come with me if you want to live" Terminator riff, but for the most part, it was just crudeness substituting for cleverness.

Freaks of Nature (which is, to be fair, a much better title than Kitchen Sink) stars Nicholas Braun, Mackenzie Davis, Ed Westwick, Vanessa Hudgens, Keegan-Michael Key, Joan Cusack, Bob Odenkirk, Denis Leary, and Cerina Vincent. It comes out in theaters right before Halloween, on October 30.
