3D Character/Creature Artist For Batman v Superman Says Doomsday Will Not Be Featured In the Upcoming Film
It's been rumored for a while now that the Superman villain Doomsday would be the greater threat that ends up uniting the two titular heroes in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, a 3D character/creature artist for the Moving Picture Company (MPC) who worked on Batman v Superman is claiming that this brutal alien force will most definitely not be featured in the upcoming film.

Though the artist claims that Doomsday won't be in Batman v Superman, one has to wonder if that's really the case. After all, it's been clear for a while now that anyone with legitimate inside information concerning the film really isn't allowed to say anything. Jena Malone, who's been rumored to either be playing Carrie Kelley or Barbara Gordon, has avoided every question that's been asked of her concerning her potential role in the film. Michael Shannon had to backtrack on some comments he made about not being able to open a door because due to his character having flippers for hands. Likewise, Jason Fuchs (who is rumored to be writing the script for Wonder Woman) recently compared working for DC to working for the CIA. So this artists' claims should certainly be taken with a grain of salt. It's guaranteed that if he does know if the character will be in the movie, he most definitely won't be allowed to tell anyone.

If what he says is true, however, what else could be this massive force that unites the heroes referenced in the movie's official synopsis? It's possible that it's simply Lex Luthor, but this seems unlikely as General Zod's corpse was clearly featured in the trailer. Since Kryptonian DNA is involved, many are theorizing that some version of Bizzaro could be involved. If not Doomsday or Bizzaro, however, who else could it be? Fans may have to wait till March 25th, 2016 to find out.

The official synopsis of the film reads as follows:

Opening quote
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
