Star Wars: The Force Awakens Opening Screening Tickets are Being Sold on Ebay for $10,000!
Since they went on sale, tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been coming closer to breaking the internet than a Kim Kardashian magazine cover ever could. As people clamored for tickets to the opening screenings of JJ Abrams' movie, theater and ticketing sites crashed under the sheer weight of traffic, forcing some folks to head down to their local theaters and purchase tickets in person. There's no doubting that this is a movie event the likes of which we have never seen, but are some people taking it too far?

Just a matter of hours after screenings started to sell out, the inevitable occurred and people started trying to flip their tickets on the Internet. A quick visit to Ebay will show you that not only are there a ton of tickets for opening screenings across America, but the prices are as close to crazy as you can ever imagine.

Sure, the bulk of the tickets are on there for a solid mark-up of around $45 a ticket, but some are taking it to new levels, attempting to score a cool $1000 for a ticket that would normally cost around $20.

But while that may seem like a crazy amount of money, it's nothing compared to the amount that those who secured tickets for the opening parties are trying to grab.

13 people watching? Let's hope they're just watching and laughing because that's bloody madness!
