The First Preacher Trailer Will Air During a 90-Minute Episode of The Walking Dead
A Preacher series is coming to AMC, but it's been remarkably quiet so far. Now, we'll get to see the first footage from the series during a special 90-minute episode of The Walking Dead, which will air on November 1.

Preacher is an acclaimed Vertigo comic written by Garth Ennis, which follows a conflicted preacher who merges with a powerful creature from Heaven and sets out to literally find God. The adaptation will be helmed by Seth Rogen, frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg, and Breaking Bad writer Sam Catlin.

The first trailer will air during the fourth episode of the sixth season of The Walking Dead, which was just announced to be 90 minutes long. The episode is entitled "Here's Not Here," officially sees the survivors "ask themselves who can be trusted, and better yet, can they change?" This is completely vague, of course, but it's rumored to be a flashback episode that fills in the gaps between Morgan's predicament in the third season to his encounter with Daryl and Aaron on the way to Alexandria. It's also written by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, which likely means it will be an important episode.

The third episode of The Walking Dead, "Thank You," will air this Sunday at 9pm on AMC. Preacher has been picked up for a ten-episode order and will premiere in mid-2016.
