New Images and Scene Description from Suicide Squad Reveal Harley Quinn Origin Story, Details on Katana, and More
Empire has just revealed a ton of new images from Suicide Squad, and they reveal our best look yet at Jared Leto's Joker, as well as more information about Harley Quinn's origin story.

In the above images that together compose one scene, Dr. Harleen Quinzel has a therapy session with Jared Leto's Joker. We all suspected that Margot Robbie's Harley would adhere to her most famous origin story, which appeared in the one-shot Mad Love and the animated series, but this is our first confirmation that Harley starts off as Joker's psychiatrist.

Empire also revealed a brief scene description which introduces Katana, a martial artist and swordswoman who hasn't been explored in promotional materials so far. According to Comic Book Movie, the scene sees Deadshot, Diablo, Boomerang, Slipknot, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc on a Chinook helicopter along with a squad of Navy Seals. Rick Flag and Katana join them, and it turns out that unlike the rest of the Suicide Squad, she's a volunteer, serving as Flag's bodyguard.

Opening quote
"She's got my back," Flag informs the Squad. "I'd advise not getting killed by her - her sword traps the souls of its victims." Harley extends her hand, perky and smirky. "Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha. Love your perfume. What is that: Stench of Death?"
Closing quote

The images also give us glimpses of Viola Davis's Amanda Waller, director David Ayer, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's appearance as Killer Croc:

But the best reveal from the Empire article might be Enchantress, who looks cooler in these images than we ever could have hoped for:
