Fan Creates Force Awakens Style Trailer For Original Star Wars Trilogy
We've all seen the latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer so many times by now that we know it by heart, to the point where our excitement literally can't be at a higher level. So as a way to pass the excruciating time until the movie premieres in December, a fan has made a Force Awakens-style trailer for the original Star Wars trilogy, and it will get you psyched to watch those classics again as if it were the first time.

The trailer uses footage from the first three Star Wars films but borrows the fantastic score from the Force Awakens trailer. It begins peacefully with Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, coupled with an Obi-Wan Kenobi voiceover. It then switches to a Luke voiceover, mimicking how the Force Awakens trailer switches between characters. Then for Kylo-Ren's part, we see Darth Vader talking to the Emperor, which feels entirely fresh and different when backed by the new evil music. We also get plenty of Millennium Falcon shots and lightsaber fighting (truth be told, more than the Force Awakens trailer) as the score crescendos to its epic heights. There's even a buddy scene between a flight suit-wearing Luke and Han Solo, echoing the Finn/Poe Dameron moment in the Force Awakens trailer.

The whole thing is very well done, and if it doesn't give you goosebumps then there is likely something wrong with you. Check out the trailer below, and then go watch the original trilogy on repeat until December 18.
