Ryan Gosling Confirms He's in Blade Runner 2
Eons ago, we first heard that a Blade Runner sequel was being made and that Ryan Gosling may be involved. Now, we finally have confirmation. Ryan Gosling does indeed have a role in Blade Runner 2and the movie's coming out sooner rather than later.

The 35-year-old actor told Collider that the rumors are true, he is in the film. He further stated that he was drawn to the project due to the involvement of Sicario director Denis Villeneuve and Skyfall cinematographer Roger Deakins as well as the script. With those two behind the camera and Gosling in front of it, we know the film is going to look good, but unfortunately we don't know a whole lot about it beyond that.

Gosling said that a chip in his head would explode if he said anything else about the movie, so maybe that means he's a replicant? Harrison Ford is also returning to the film in what's said to be only a minor role, but the plus side is that the true state of his character will finally be revealed after over 30 years. One promising sign of Gosling's involvement is that he typically shies away from big budget films in favor of critically-acclaimed indie fare, so his attachment to the Blade Runner sequel suggests that the film's script is strong and smart.

Gosling also mentions another surprise in his interview: Blade Runner 2 is the next movie he's working on. This is not a drill, guys, the next Blade Runner movie is coming - and soon. You can watch Gosling's entire exchange below.
