New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Unveiled
Even though Star Wars: The Force Awakens has revealed quite a bit about the plot from its relentless marketing, there's still a good deal we don't know. But today, thanks to Empire, the folks at Disney have pulled back the curtain a little more and given us our first look at a new character.

Behold, Constable Zuvio!

All right then. He doesn't look very friendly, let's get that out of the way, and something about his face looks almost feline to us. Kind of like Grumpy Cat on steroids. We also don't know very much about the character, as his official description is pretty vague:

Opening quote
A vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world, the tough and humorless Constable Zuvio keeps order in a frontier trading post.
Closing quote

While we don't know for sure what lawless world is his base of operations, the description as well as the desert background both fit the profile of Jakku, which looks to be a major setting for the new film (or at least the one they're most interested in showing us in the trailers) as Finn, Rey, and BB-8 all spend some time there.

Another cool thing to notice about Zuvio is that he appears to be an actor in a practical costume rather than a CGI-rendered character, which is something we're all in favor of. The more practical effects, the better we always say.
