Andy Serkis Gives New Details on Supreme Leader Snoke
Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma look evil enough, but the real bad guy in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke, played by the master of motion capture acting, Andy Serkis. We don't know much about Snoke, other than what he might look like, but Serkis recently revealed some new information about the character.

In an interview with Empire, Serkis says of Snoke:

Opening quote
"It was quite an unusual situation. I worked specifically with Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux) and with Adam Driver (Kylo Ren). My first day was basically standing on a 25-foot podium doing Lord Snoke without the faintest idea what he looked like... or in fact who he was! I was very high up, totally on my own, away from everybody else, but acting with them ... We used sort of a 'Kongolizer' method of having sound come out of speakers to give a sense of scale and distance for the character. So it was very challenging and scary, in fact probably one of my most scary film experiences I've ever had ... He is severely damaged. Although he's a powerful leader, he comes across as vulnerable. Very scarred and disfigured."
Closing quote

OK, so here's what we know. Snoke sounds like he's about 25-feet-tall and terrifying, which sounds pretty awesome. We also know that he's only in scenes with other bad guys, so we probably won't get to see him fight anybody, which is a bit of a downer. But knowing that he's scarred and disfigured sounds awesome, and may even align with some kind of revenge story against our heroes. Did Luke disfigure him? Leia? Jar Jar? We're psyched to find out.
