The Captain America: Civil War Trailer Is a Thousand Times Better Set to Adele's "Hello"
Captain America: Civil War is supposed to be an action movie about the complex political issue of liberty versus security, but one genius superfan set the first trailer to Adele's newest breakup anthem, "Hello," in order to expose it for what it really is: a tragic love story between Captain America and Winter Soldier.

Hello - The Civil War Bromance Version (Adele) from Anthony Meadows on Vimeo.

The "Bromance Version" of the trailer, made by Anthony Meadows, is amazing, and really makes it look like Steve is pining for Bucky. To be fair, I'm sure this hoyay! relationship has already been explored in depth on Tumblr and in fan fiction, but the use of an Adele song really brings it home.

They should really just make all movie trailers to Adele songs. Her music is perfect for any action movie because it's so rousing; she could do the same thing for Civil War that she did for Skyfall.

In other funny news, Vulture made a trailer remix that portrays the Avengers as one of those truly terrible ensemble rom-coms, a la He's Just Not that Into You or any movie named after a romantic holiday. The fact that most of the footage belongs to Black Widow and Hulk just emphasizes the fact that that plotline should never have existed:

Science Fiction
Comic Book Movies
Marvel
Captain America: Civil War
