Obama Pushes Agent Carter Premiere Back Two Weeks
Thanks, Obama. The State of the Union address has been pushed up a little earlier, on January 12, which will, in turn. delay Agent Carter's return to our screen by two weeks.

Agent Carter was originally scheduled to premiere on January 5, which means the address would have interrupted the season only one week in. The address will simulcast on all major networks, so instead of airing the second episode two weeks after the first, Agent Carter is avoiding the problem entirely by moving their premiere back by two weeks, until January 19.

Agent Carter is supposed to serve as a replacement for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during its midseason hiatus, which means the spring premiere of S.H.I.E.L.D. would need to be pushed back two weeks as well. ABC hasn't officially announced this yet, but we assume they will keep the tradition alive.

We suppose that a State of the Union address from POTUS is more important, but still, it's probably a good thing he's not running for re-election this year. (I'll bet Bernie/Hillary would let us have nice things!)
