Captain America Is Not a Hero in New International Trailer for Civil War
A new international trailer has dropped for Captain America: Civil War, and if you're a fan of the Civil War comics, it's much better than the first one:

This trailer gives us a few new shots of the fight between Cap, Iron Man, and Bucky, as well as a glimpse of what looks like the film's version of the Stamford Incident. But more importantly, it puts the thematic thrust in the right place a little more. While the first trailer looked exciting and polished in the way all Marvel movies do, it downplayed what is hopefully the actual conflict of the movie- individual freedom versus collective security- in favor of a slapfight between Iron Man and Captain America because Tony is jealous that Steve got a new best friend. And while this trailer still has some of that, especially the last scene, it portrays the relationship between Cap and Bucky as a way to give an emotional context to the ideological conflict, rather than being the focus of the whole movie. We'll have to wait and see whether this philosophical theme is oversimplified, but this trailer at least looks better.

Captain America: Civil War comes out in theaters on May 6, 2016.
