Rocksteady Teases the Possibility of Another Batman Game, Plus a Look Into Bale’s Batsuit in Arkham Knight
2015 is coming to a close, and so is what seems to be the last of the Batman: Arkham Knight DLC covered by the season pass. Just as they do every month, Rocksteady has released another episode of 'Arkham Insider' which details the new skins, batmobiles, and story missions being released in the form of downloadable content by the studio. However, with Arkham Knight being the final game in Rocksteady's trilogy, many have wondered whether they'll ever take another crack at the Bat sometime again in the future. Now they've dropped a hint that they might be thinking about doing just that:

The hint comes at right around the 9:10 mark in which the host asks one of the designers, "Are you saying categorically that this is the end of the road for Rocksteady and Batman?" To which the designer replies by saying, "Well…" right before the screen cuts out during what seems to be the rest of his answer.

This is exciting news, as it was previously believed that Rocksteady would be done with Batman after the Arkham trilogy, so it's definitely great to see that such an amazing studio isn't quite done with such an amazing character just quite yet. Granted, this doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be a Batman exclusive game - Justice League and Suicide Squad have been rumored to be in the idea bin for years now.

The video also takes a brief look at the 2008 Dark Knight Batsuit, which is dropping in December, as well as the new set of story missions entitled 'Season of Infamy' which feature other villains which have been featured in the Arkham series previously but didn't make an appearance in Arkham Knight.

Near the end of November, it was also announced that WB Games Montreal, which made the video game 'Batman:Arkham Origins' (which is not counted in the official Arkham trilogy due to the fact that it was made by a different studio) is also working on two separate DC Comics video games. This is also pretty exciting, as even though many complained that the gameplay was a bit more glitchy that Rocksteady's other installments in the franchise, Origins undoubtedly had some of the greatest boss battles and cut scenes of the entire series. Likewise, Tell-Tale Games just announced that they were working on a new Batman video game as well.

So what does all this mean for DC video game fans? Even though an epic, critically acclaimed, award winning series like the Arkham games is coming to a close, there's more of the same type of stuff being cut from the same cloth on its way sometime in the near future. In the case of Tell-Tale's new game, the cloth may be completely different, but even they have a history of making amazing, critically acclaimed games for completely separate reasons. So in essence, DC Comics fans have nothing to fear when it comes to the video games of the near future. There's a whole lot in store, and all of it sounds absolutely brilliant.
