Hope for Peace, Prepare for War in a New Trailer for The 100 Season 3
A new trailer for The 100's third season is here, and it prepares us for yet another bloody conflict with the Grounders:

We've already seen that Clarke is being hunted after the massacre in the season two finale (and we get a direct flashback to those events in this promo). And this is The 100, after all, so we knew things were going to get violent. But this new trailer elucidates the conflict a little, as Lincoln tells Abby that the wary truce between the Grounders and Camp Jaha is broken, and previews some kind of dystopian suspicion of emotions, as evidenced by the scene between Jaha and Murphy.

At TCA this year (via Variety), showrunner Jason Rothenberg previewed a return to the Lord of the Flies-esque politics that made us all love the show in the first place:

Opening quote
"This season we get to a pure version of where the show started," said Rothenberg. "There is internal conflict at Camp Jaha - what was formerly known as Camp Jaha - and there's a new group that comes in and really mixes things up and creates a lot of conflict internally."
Closing quote

The 100 returns for its third season on January 21.
