Jonah Hex Is Coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow
DC's Legends of Tomorrow plays with time travel (courtesy of Doctor Who's Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter), which means the Legends can meet DC Comics characters from any time period. So naturally, the powers that be have decided to introduce Jonah Hex, the iconic DC antihero of the Old West.

Opening quote
"Ever since we decided that 'Legends' would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Variety. "But if you're going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply MUST include Jonah Hex in it. We're thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television."
Closing quote

Unfortunately, Jonah Hex's reputation has been a little bit tarnished by the big screen adaptation in 2010 starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox, which was universally panned and is widely recognized as one of the worst comics adaptations of all time (when people remember that it exists, at least). But DC Comics fans will be excited to see another iteration of the classic character, which will hopefully be a little more worthy of him.

In the comics, Jonah Hex is a cynical bounty hunter whose face is unrecognizably burned on one side. Despite his more antiheroic qualities, he feels bound by a code of honor to avenge and protect the innocent. So although Thomas Jane once voiced him in a short animated film, The Punisher he is not. It is unknown who will play him, or even whether he has been cast yet, but Variety reports that he will appear in episode 11 with a possibility to recur.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow premieres on January 21 on The CW.
