Colin Trevorrow Will Answer All Of Your Rey Theories
After watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, many of us were left asking: What's the deal with Rey? Is she Luke Skywalker's daughter? Han and Leia's second kid? Obi Won Kenobi's granddaughter? Was she a Jedi trainee who had her mind wiped? Does she have some big secret she's not telling us? Well, fear not. All will be revealed when it comes to Rey... at least by the time the end credits roll on Episode IX.

The director of that film, Colin Trevorrow, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the great Rey mystery, and here's what he said:

Opening quote
"I've seen all of the theories… What I do know is that we're going to make sure that that answer is deeply and profoundly satisfying, because Rey is a character that is important in this universe, not just in the context of The Force Awakens, but in the entire galaxy, and she deserves it. So we'll make sure that that answer is something that feels like it was - it's something that happened a long time ago [in a galaxy] far, far away, we're just telling you what happened."
Closing quote

Fair enough. But since his movie doesn't come out until 2019, does this mean our questions about Rey will remain unanswered even after 2017's Episode VIII? Are we really looking at a four year wait to find out who Rey's parents are? Looks like we can take our time perfecting those theories, because it might be a while before we get any answers.
