Jimmy Kimmel X-Files Parody Finally Gets Mulder and Scully to Have Sex
Jimmy Kimmel had Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and the three of them performed a perfect parody of The X-Files, complete with ridiculous 90's nostalgia and a random alien hidden by the government. Also, Jimmy convinces them to just have sex already, because "It's been like 23 years, everybody knows."

While everyone wants to see Mulder and Scully reunite and/or be more open about the romantic aspect of their relationship, the funniest part of the video is the skewering of 90's tech. It's a little disconcerting to see Mulder and Scully using iPhones in the trailers for the revival, because the show we know and love was so 90's. They never went as far as making us sit through those godforsaken AOL dial-up sounds, but they came pretty close.

And Jimmy reminds us that even if the revival is terrible, it could never ruin the classic, groundbreaking series:

Opening quote
"Even if coming back turns out to be a bad idea, like a really, really bad idea that makes everyone hate you, we'll still always have the 90's."
Closing quote

The X-Files revival premieres on January 24 on Fox.
