Superman Is Headed to 'Supergirl'
We already know that CBS's Supergirl does not exist within the same universe as Henry Cavill's big screen Superman, but that doesn't mean the show can't have a Man of Steel of its own.

Young actor Daniel DiMaggio, who has appeared in the films Tales of Halloween and A Tiger's Tail, will be playing a teenage version of the man who eventually becomes Superman, apparently credited as "Young Kal-El". It's a bit strange that he wouldn't be using the name "Young Clark Kent", but we suppose that's not important. What is important is that he'll be making his debut in the February 8 episode entitled, "For the Girl Who Has Everything".

The episode will apparently use flashbacks to show the bond between the two Kryptonians. Sounds cool, and we're hoping for a display of super powers from the kid. The childhood Clark Kent scenes are always a lot of fun, and were easily the best part of Man of Steel. Then again, it doesn't take much to be the best part of Man of Steel.

You can catch Kal-El's first appearance on Supergirl on Monday, February 8 at 8 pm EST on CBS.
