Report: Avatar 2 Will Begin Production in April
Avatar 2 has been delayed so many times, we were starting to wonder if it would happen at all. Most recently, it was pushed off from a Christmas 2017 release date, and doesn't have an official replacement yet, but will reportedly start filming in April anyway.

According to My Entertainment World (via Coming Soon), Avatar will start production somewhere around Tax Day (April 15), filming once again in New Zealand. Little is known about the plot as of yet, but it will feature the return of stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, and will further flesh out the world of Pandora and possibly its neighboring moons. It is set to be the first of three sequels, none of which have a release date yet.

The report also confirmed that Wolverine 3, starring Hugh Jackman in his last outing as the iconic X-Men character, as well as Alien: Covenant, formerly Prometheus 2">Prometheus 2 and starring Michael Fassbender as the only returning cast member, will start shooting in April. Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2, starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard, will begin production in July, and for anyone who cares, Transformers 5 will start filming in in May.
