Young Superman Revealed in New Images from Supergirl's "For the Girl Who Has Everything"

This week, Supergirl will adapt Alan Moore's classic comic, "For the Man Who Has Everything," into—what else?—"For the Girl Who Has Everything." In the episode, Kara is attacked by a parasitic alien who sends her consciousness to a dream world in which Krypton was never destroyed and her family is still alive, including her young cousin, Kal-El.

Aside from brief, faceless cameos, this is the first time we've seen Superman on the CBS show, and he'll be played by young actor Daniel DiMaggio. In this dream world, Kal-El would be younger than Kara, since she was sent to Earth as a preteen to protect him when he was a baby, but she didn't age for several years while her spaceship was stuck in the Phantom Zone.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

Opening quote
"Kara's friends must find a way to save her life when a parasitic alien attaches itself to her and traps her in a dream world where her family is alive and her home planet was never destroyed. Also, Alex, Hank and the DEO must fend off a Kryptonian attack while Kara is out of commission."
Closing quote

Supergirl's "For the Girl Who Has Everything" will air Monday at 8:30pm ET on CBS.
