Watch the Amazingly Tense First Four Minutes of the Walking Dead Midseason Premiere
The Walking Dead is finally coming back this week, and after a slightly disappointing midseason finale, it already promises to hit the ground running, as the first four minutes are as exciting, tense, and potentially lethal as we were hoping they would be (and we haven't even gotten to Alexandria yet!):

The first four minutes pick up where we left off with Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham, in a continuation of the post-credits scene that showed them having a run-in with Negan's group (unnamed so far in the show, but called the Saviors in the comics). After this scene, Negan is already striking fear in all of our hearts, and we can't wait to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan's take on the character.

But as exciting as this is, it won't even be the center of the action in this episode, since Alexandria is still very much under siege from that horde of walkers from the quarry. Last we saw the group, Rick, Michonne, Jesse, Ron, Carl, and Sam were all making their way through the horde covered in zombie guts, and Sam started freaking out in a direct allusion to a famous and very casualty-heavy scene in the comics. Early buzz says that this premiere is firing on all cylinders, and that the scale of the action won't disappoint; EP Greg Nicotero claimed that this episode breaks the record for number of walkers at a whopping 1300.

The Walking Dead's midseason premiere, "No Way Out," airs on Sunday, February 14 at 9pm ET.
