The Punisher Arrives in First Footage from Marvel's Daredevil Season 2

"Hell's Kitchen is about to explode"

Finally, after months of waiting, the first footage from Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 has arrived in the form of an action-packed teaser for Netflix's March release. While the title of the show might still refer to the Man with no Fear, all the excitement centers on another Marvel classic, who (thankfully) features heavily in the first of what will be a two part teaser.

Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Frank Castle aka Punisher is one of the most talked about happenings the genre has to offer right now, and if this first trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be every bit as good as we hoped.

"I think you're a half measure. I think you're a man who can't finish the job." That quote alone gives us a major hint at the dynamic we'll be seeing between the two Marvel legends during this season. Daredevil's more humane approach was always going to clash with Punisher's, but it's the resolution that we're most looking forward to. How will the pair lay down their arms against each other and end up working together?

Presumably, part two of this trailer will focus on the other big entry into the series. Played by Elodie Yung, Elektra is also expected to play a major role in this latest season. Check out a brief synopsis for Season 2 of Daredevil below.

Opening quote
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell's Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt's neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Closing quote
