Toy Image Shows New 'Ghostbusters' Villain
The new Ghostbusters movie has been awfully secretive. Aside from a handful of set photos and a new trailer announcement that features zero ghosts or busters, basically nothing has been seen of what Sony is hoping will be the relaunch of a major beloved franchise. But Mattel may have just spoiled the film's villain at the New York Toy Fair. Have a look below at the photo from Pixel-Dan:

Confirmed at #Mattel this morning that this is the main villain in the new #Ghostbusters movie. #ToyFair #TF16 #NYTF

This is apparently Rowan, the big baddie for the reboot, and he looks a little... cartoony. Actually, save for the sharp teeth and bowtie, he looks exactly like the Ghostbusters logo. That doesn't exactly scream originality in the way that, say, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man does, but we're willing to give Rowan the benefit of the doubt - especially since he's played by funnyman Neil Casey.

And just in case you're still skeptical after viewing the photo that this cartoonish fop really is the big bad for the film and not a holdover from the Real Ghostbusters animated series, have a look at the video below where a Mattel representative spells it out for you.
