New Details on When You Can Own Star Wars: The Force Awakens on iTunes, Blu-Ray
Let's face it, you've already given theater chains enough of your hard-earned money by seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so it's probably about time to start thinking about enjoying Episode 7 in the comfort of your own home. The question of when exactly that will be possible has been the source of great debate in recent weeks, especially seeing as Disney has refused to confirm a Blu-Ray or digital release date. The general consensus has been that we can expect Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-Rays and DVDs to hit stores some time in April, with a digital release a few weeks earlier.

Now, Blu-Ray.com have updated their digital listings to state that The Force Awakens will be heading to iTunes on March 15th, which is a mere 3 weeks from now. Such a date would appear to lend credence to the rumors that Blu-Rays and DVDs will be coming in early April, with April 15th being the date many are circling.

Another tidbit has also emerged after Blu-Ray.com updated their listing for the Blu-Ray/DVD box-set. With the listing stating that the Blu-Ray copies of the movie will have three discs (2 BDs, 1 DVD) we can take the reasonable assumption that we'll be getting an entire disc dedicated to extra features. No word just yet on what exactly those special features will be, but at the very least we'll be getting some behind-the-scenes footage along with a healthy dose of deleted scenes.

If all this is true, it's likely that we can expect an announcement very, very soon.
