So far, everything we've heard about the upcoming Predator movie, The Predator, has gotten us pretty excited. From the involvement of writer/director Shane Black, whose other credits include penning Lethal Weapon and directing Iron Man 3, to the sense that the new film is going to try and capture the spirit of the original (something the movie's other sequels and spinoffs have failed to do), the new film sounds like a hit. In fact, the only way it could get any better would be if it were to involve the star of the original Predator: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Thankfully, it looks like that might just happen.

In a recent interview, Arnold revealed that he is planning a meeting with Black to discuss the film, and if that's the case, we can't imagine a scenario where he leaves the meeting without securing a return as Dutch Schaefer. Here's what he said:

Opening quote
"I haven't talked with [Shane Black] yet but I'm going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I'm finished with [Arnold's Sports Festival] and The Apprentice and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we'll of course let you know right away. There's also a meeting coming up soon about Conan, about the project moving forward."
Closing quote

We're definitely crossing our fingers that Arnold returns as Dutch, because his presence would make the movie that much better. We know Terminator: Genisys was a disaster, but just imagine how much worse it would have been without Arnold. Think about it.
