Daredevil Faces Off with The Punisher in First Clip from Season Two
Daredevil season two is fast approaching, and we can hardly wait to see Matt Murdock go up against Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. Now, the first clip has come out in an IGN interview with Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal, and it effectively encapsulates the two heroes' entire conflict for this season:

First, we see the footage attached to the dialogue from the Punisher we heard in the first trailer:

Opening quote
"I think you're a half measure," says The Punisher. "I think you're a man who can't finish the job. I think you're a coward. You're just one bad day away from being me."
Closing quote

Later in the interview, we see footage of Castle making fun of Daredevil's nickname: "What kind of name is the 'Devil of Hell's Kitchen' anyway?" (What's next, his mother?) and then accusing him of relishing his vigilante status:

Opening quote
"I don't do that to hurt people." "What is that, a job perk?" "I don't kill people!"
Closing quote

Charlie Cox explains in the interview that Matt has become more confident and comfortable with his Daredevil persona when the season starts, which leads to some arrogance and hubris. As far as we can tell, his conflict with the Punisher is so fraught because he's afraid he secretly enjoys hurting people, and that the Punisher's brutal "kill first, ask questions later" is the logical end to his own vigilantism.
