Warner Bros. Just Accidentally Revealed Jenna Malone's Batman v Superman Character
In a marketing campaign that has been distinctly lacking in surprises and mystique, the questions surrounding Jenna Malone's role have been the standout pieces of intrigue in the build up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Shrouded in mystery thanks to numerous rumors, the most concrete piece of information we've ever received about Malone's role was that it wasn't going to make it into the final cut of the movie, and would instead be limited to the R-rated Blu-Ray cut. That is until now, because Warner Bros. might just have revealed Malone's role with a ridiculous slip up.

Warner Bros. recently sent a survey to their fans, quizzing them on which characters they want to see more of in Batman v Superman. Do we want to see more Henry Cavill as Superman? Damn right we do, he's half the bloody movie. What about Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor? Sure why not! Ok, what about Jenna Malone as Barbara Gordon? Heck ye-...wait, what?

The studio swiftly took the question down, but not before a fast-acting Reddit user managed to get a screenshot.

Of course, this won't come as a huge surprise to most people. Other than Carrie Kelly aka Robin, Barbara Gordon was generally seen as the most likely role for Malone. Then, when we learnt of her role being limited to the R-rated cut, and things started to fall into place. We still don't know if Malone's appearance will be inspired by that famous scene from The Killing Joke, but at least now, thanks to Warner Bros' marketing department, we've got our confirmation on who she is playing.

Now all that's left for us to debate is just when we'll get to see her suit up as Batgirl!
