Watch the First Footage From Star Wars Doc: 'Secrets of The Force Awakens'
The Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just three short weeks away, and other than the obvious benefit of being able to watch the movie at home, we're also excited for the special features that are going to come bundled with the film. One of the most prominent is a documentary called Secrets of the Force Awakens, and luckily, you can view a preview of it now.

The documentary in its entirety premiered at SXSW, but Good Morning America ran a piece on it for those of us who were unable to make it to Austin. The doc looks like it's going to cover a lot of ground, including background on some of the new characters' origins (like where Phasma's name came from), John Boyega's audition tape, the secret of how Adam Driver got into character as Kylo Ren, and even Harrison Ford discussing the importance of *that* scene.

Overall, the doc looks like it's going to be both a fascinating and entertaining look behind the scenes look at one of the biggest movies of all time. Here's the footage from GMA:

And here's more footage from the Star Wars official Twitter account:

Secrets of The Force Awakens will be released on April 5 as part of the Force Awakens Digital HD and Blu-ray combo pack, which you can preorder now.
