New Details on Flash/Supergirl Crossover
The Flash/Supergirl crossover is just a couple weeks away, and excitement for the on-screen pairing has never been higher. The pair will meet in a March 28 episode of Supergirl on CBS, and according to executive producer Greg Berlanti, the episode will be accessible to casual fans and die hards alike. He tells TV Line:

Opening quote
"Obviously, you have to understand the concept of superheroes and that they can have all sorts of different kinds of powers when [The Flash] shows up. People will appreciate how he gets [to National City] and their journey that they take in the hour."
Closing quote

Supergirl herself, Melissa Benoist, certainly enjoyed the team up, as she reveals:

Opening quote
"It is the most joyous occasion to have these two superheroes together in the same place, at the same time, working together. They are both so happy with their powers and what they get to do and how they get to help people, that it's kind of infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy."
Closing quote

So Supergirl and the Flash are going to get along famously, it seems, but might there be the potential for a relationship? Mehcad Brooks, who plays James Olsen, thinks so:

Opening quote
"We have this little rivalry, because he's a superhero, too, and kind of hitting on my girl a little bit. I'm like, 'Damn you, Barry."
Closing quote

It definitely sounds like the matchup is going to make for some good television, and executive producer Ali Adler thinks it could lead to more crossovers in the future:

Opening quote
"We really had an amazing time making it. It was tough to juggle people's schedules. The Flash is a busy man, but in success, we'd love to do this again."
Closing quote

We don't think they have to worry about this crossover not being a success!
