Del Rey Books Announces Rogue One Prequel "Star Wars: Catalyst"
In the Star Wars Books panel at C2E2 this afternoon, Elizabeth Schaefer of Del Rey books announced an all-new Star Wars book: a Rogue One prequel called Star Wars: Catalyst.

Unfortunately, that's all we know so far, except for the fact that the book comes out sometime in fall 2016 (probably around the same time as the Rogue One prequel comics). The book will be available for pre-order immediately, even though we don't even know the author yet, for those of us that will order anything with the words "Star Wars" on the cover.

In other Star Wars book news, Schaefer previewed the plot of Aftermath: Life Debt, Chuck Wendig's upcoming sequel to Star Wars: Aftermath, which comes out on July 19.

Opening quote
"This book finds them being a team, and suddenly getting interrupted by Princess Leia, when she discovers that Han and Chewie are in a bit of trouble. Before Han can settle down with Leia, he has one last debt to pay. This is a story of our favorite BFFs on Chewie's home planet."

We also got a preview into Lost Stars author Claudia Gray's Bloodline, which has a new release date of May 3. Gray stated that it will be a story about Princess Leia leading up to The Force Awakens, "not primarily as a wife or mom, but about who she is in the New Republic, and who she's trying to be."

And, incidentally, since it is a Force Awakens prequel, "you do learn a little bit about the rise of the Resistance."

This all sounds very exciting, but unfortunately, Bloodline has no connection to Lost Stars other than one overlapping character, and there's no sequel planned as of now. However, Gray was optimistic that a sequel was still a possibility.

Opening quote
"Keep letting them know that you want it, but there's nothing in the works yet."
