Did Jason Momoa Dye His Hair Blonde For Justice League?
Unsurprisingly, there has been a lack of backlash from fans about Aquaman's appearance being changed so drastically for the cinematic universe. Sadly, Aquaman is typically very under appreciated and misunderstood, and is viewed as the butt of the joke more often than he is as the badass King of Atlantis that DC lovers know from the comics.

Hopefully, all of that will change when people get a load of Jason Momoa's Aquaman. His first appearance will be in Batman v Superman, and from the promotional images that were released, he certainly looks a lot different from what DC fans are used to seeing.

However, the first real taste of Aquaman probably won't be seen until Justice League, which is just about to start filming. And interestingly enough, it would look as if Momoa has his hair died for the role:

If this is indeed due to Justice League, it'll definitely help him look the part a bit more. That being said, it really wouldn't matter either way. Changing Aquaman's race to that of a Pacific Islander is something that totally makes sense, and it doesn't change anything about the character except for small details about his appearance (which often get changed for cinematic adaption anyway). At this point, whether or not he has blonde hair would be a rather small quibble.

Either way, this news is a good reminder of the diversity fans can expect to see with the Justice League. With Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman composing half of the League's starting line up, DC is obviously doing a superb job when it comes to minority representation on the big screen.

Justice League is set for a release date in November of 2017.
