This 'Batman v Superman' Deleted Scene Is Even Crazier Than the Movie
If you've seen Batman v Supermanthen you already know that the movie is totally bonkers. But just in case the two and a half hour film somehow didn't provide you with enough comic book craziness, Warner Bros. has already released a deleted scene from the film - and it almost makes the rest of the movie tame.

Possible spoilers ahead! (Click to reveal)

In the movie, there are a number of teases that suggest Darkseid will be the villain in the upcoming Justice League movie, including one where Lex Luthor says "He's coming" at the end of the film, which we took to mean Darkseid. Separate from that is Lex's obsession with General Zod's spaceship, which he uses to create Doomsday. But that's not all he learned from the ship, apparently. It's probably also where he learned about Darkseid. In the newly-released deleted scene, Lex is up to his neck in spaceship goo, learning all he can from the ship's computer. Police show up to apprehend him, and they interrupt his receiving a lecture from a hologram of a giant CGI alien creature playing with some boxes. So what does this mean? Well, the boxes are definitely mother boxes, which come from Darkseid's world of Apokolips and are seen earlier in the film during Cyborg's cameo. As for the creature? Fans are speculating that he's either Yuga Khan, who is Darkseid's father, or Steppenwolf, who is Darkseid's uncle and the leader of Apokolips's army. If the creature in the scene is indeed either one of these guys, it would go a long way toward explaining how Lex knows about Darkseid at the end of the film.
