Chris Evans to Introduce New Captain America: Civil War Clip at MTV Movie Awards
BatmanSuperman has taken over the internet for the past few days, but another superhero "versus" film is about to start dominating the news cycle again: Captain America: Civil War. MTV has just announced that Chris Evans will present new footage from the film at the MTV Movie Awards, less than a month before the film opens in theaters.

The hugely anticipated Marvel film also released a new TV spot, which doesn't have much in the way of new footage, but highlights each of the heroes in a fun, satisfying way.

I liked the format of this TV spot, but how could they forget Scarlet Witch? She seems to have a very prominent role in the film, and has been a big part of the rest of the marketing, so what gives? At least they didn't forget Black Widow, but still.

Opening quote
Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps-one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Closing quote

The MTV Movie Awards airs on April 10 at 8pm ET, while Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
