Batman v Superman Concept Art Previews a Very Different Doomsday
Batman v Superman was great in theory, but has been polarizing in nearly every aspect of its execution (the universal love for Batfleck and Wonder Woman notwithstanding). But one of the most contentious elements was its main antagonist, Doomsday, which some fans liked, but others (myself included) thought was a big amorphous blob of disappointingly pedestrian CGI. New concept art has come out for BvS, and it depicts a very different Doomsday. He's still kind of a big blob, but the design is better than what we ended up with:

This design isn't perfect, but it at least had potential. With a few tweaks, it could have looked like a huge version of Flukeman from The X-Files rather than an embarrassing cross between The Thing, Killer Croc, and Smooze from My Little Pony

There are also several images detailing the battle between Batman and Superman, which show a few sequences I would have liked to have seen:

This looks really cool as well, but is Batman the beefiest beefcake of all time or what? And what happened to his Batsuit? I have so many questions about this scene.

And finally, here's a piece of concept art that demonstrates Zack Snyder's heavy emphasis on Superman as a Christ figure, as this shot directly emulates Rembrandt's Descent from the Cross. I wish this shot had made it into the movie, because it's visually striking.
