Kara Danvers Might Be Coming to The Flash--But Not as Supergirl
Barry Allen just ran really fast to Supergirl's universe in a wonderful and widely acclaimed crossover episode, but could Supergirl make a similar jump to The Flash? Flash EP Andrew Kreisberg confirmed that there's a chance we'll meet Earth-1 Kara Danvers on The Flash, although she wouldn't necessarily be Supergirl.

When asked during an EW spoiler session whether we could meet an Earth-1 version of Kara, Kreisberg said yes, and qualified that she would share Supergirl's extraterrestrial origin:

Opening quote
"Any Kara that exists on Earth 1 would also have to have been an alien. It can't just be Kara Danvers from Poughkeepsie."
Closing quote

And then when asked whether that meant Earth-1 Kara would necessarily be a superhero, Kreisberg answered:

Opening quote
"Sure, different costume, but sure."

It seems like nothing is for certain yet, but this sure sounds like we'll be seeing a version Power Girl on The Flash. In the comics, Power Girl is biologically the same person as Supergirl and also hails from Krypton, but is from a parallel universe. She also at some point becomes stranded in the main universe with Supergirl at some point, which would be a fun storyline to explore on the CBS show.

Either way, we're very likely to see another Flash/Supergirl crossover in some form. The episode was beloved by Supergirl and Flash fans alike, and gave Supergirl a huge boost in the ratings, so it would likely do the same for The Flash. And considering the amazing chemistry between Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin, there's no reason not to do another crossover.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8pm on CBS, while The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on The CW.
