Big Change Announced For the Justice League Movie
Batman v Superman didn't exactly wow critics or a number of fans, and the film may even end up earning a smaller profit for Warner Bros. than Man of Steel did. So it's no surprise that director Zack Snyder is switching something up in a big way for his next project, Justice League, but it may not be the type of shake up many fans were hoping for for the film.

Longtime Snyder cinematographer Larry Fong, who was in charge of cinematography on Batman v Superman, is not returning for Justice League. Instead, that role will be filled by Fabian Wagner, who has worked on TV with stints on Game of Thrones and Sherlock, and whose biggest film credit to date is last year's flop Victor Frankenstein. The move will likely lead to a slight change in aesthetic for Justice League when compared to Batman v Superman, which is intriguing given that the visuals of Batman v Superman were considered by many to be one of the few things that actually worked in the film. Of course, the decision to switch things up could have been made by Wong himself, as there doesn't appear to be any evidence to suggest that he was ousted.

So what does this mean? At the end of the day, probably not much. Snyder is still calling the shots, and given how Wagner doesn't have a ton of film experience, it's hard to imagine much of his own vision coming through in the movie. But who knows, maybe he'll surprise us and we'll end up with a bright and sunny Justice League movie... but somehow we doubt it.
