Has the Next Spider-Man Villain Been Revealed?
With Tom Holland's debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War getting rave reviews, the anticipation for next year's Spider-Man reboot film has never been higher. And now, a new report claims to have uncovered which bad guy Peter Parker will be going up against in the new movie.

According to Birth. Movies. Death., one of Spider-Man's oldest foes, The Vulture, will do battle with the web-head in the new film. Their source claims that flight harness-inventor Adrian Toomes will be in the film for sure, but they note that he may not be the main villain. If true, we certainly welcome the news that The Vulture will be in the film. He's been a foe of Spidey forever, and there has always been an interesting dynamic between the characters. Plus, we haven't seen him on screen before, and I don't think anyone was looking for yet another version of the Green Goblin.

However, what we're not crazy about is the idea of him not being the only villain. The worst Spider-Man movies (Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in case you're wondering), both suffered greatly from an overabundance of supervillains (three apiece), and it would be pretty disheartening to see the MCU's version of Spidey make the same mistake his first time out. But for now, we're willing to be hopeful that the movie will be good, and we're glad to hear that it looks like The Vulture will be a part of it.
