Deadpool Creative Team Is Trying to Make a Spider-Man Crossover Happen
We haven't seen Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Civil War yet, but we're already dying for a live-action Spideypool crossover, and as it turns out, Tim Miller and Simon Kinberg are on the same page. The powers-that-be behind the Deadpool movie want to see a crossover with Spider-Man, and they're putting the wheels in motion to make it happen.

Opening quote
"Simon and I have been trying to build bridges," Miller told Superhero Hype of a potential Spideypool crossover.

Producer Simon Kinberg officially stated that he "didn't know if it would be possible," but didn't completely rule it out, either.

Opening quote
"I would love to see it. Both of us are close with [Marvel's] Kevin [Feige], we respect and love Kevin. If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way 'cause we'd would love to see it."

Deadpool and Spider-Man have long been frenemies in the comics (and often lovers in multitudes of slashfic), and they even have their own ongoing Spider-Man/Deadpool comic. It would be difficult for the two to cross over, since they're owned by different studios, but a year ago we thought it was impossible for Spider-Man to appear in Civil War, so... (Plus, it seems that Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool is open to the idea, considering that he called Spider-Man his "superhero crush" and "the most impressive member of One Direction.")

Tom Holland's Spider-Man will first be seen in Captain America: Civil War on May 6, and then will star in Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017. Deadpool 2 has not technically been confirmed yet, but is clearly in the works, and is expected to hit theaters in the next few years.
