1980's Documentary Explores the History and Legend of X-Men: Apocalypse's Titular Bad Guy
What if the world's first mutant actually appeared thousands of years ago? That's the question asked in this 80's style documentary teaser that seeks to explore the history and legend of X-Men: Apocalypse's titular bad guy. Played by Oscar Isaac, Apocalypse is the X-Men Universe's first ever mutant, and as we learned in the trailers, he's gone by many names over the years. This 'In the Footsteps of' teaser (a play on Leonard Nimoy's 'In search of' show) opts for the mutant's traditional name En Sabah Nur, meaning 'Birth of Light' or simply 'Dawn', which is ironic given the millions of people he was rumored to have killed.

It might not be that next trailer that we've all been waiting for, but the originality of this teaser deserves some applause. We can't confirm, but that sounds remarkably like George Takei doing the voiceover for the documentary, which given it was Leonard Nimoy who narrated the 'In Search of' series, is a nice touch.

But if you're after a little more footage from the actual movie, we've got the next best thing in this awesome promo featuring some high-speed Quicksilver shenanigans.
