Willem Dafoe Has Joined Zack Snyder's Justice League Movie
Most geeks will know him best as Green Goblin, but now it would seem that Willem Dafoe is trading Marvel villain for DC comics hero. According to a new report, Dafoe has joined Zack Snyder's Justice League Pt.1 as one of the movie's key good guys.

Dafoe is the latest big name to sign-up to Snyder's DC Comics collective, following in the footsteps of J.K Simmons who was recently revealed to be playing Commissioner Gordon. According to THR Dafoe's role will see him feature in both installments of the Justice League two-parter, although there's no word yet on the specifics of his character.

Between Simmons and Dafoe, there's a bizarrely strong Spider-Man theme running through DC Comics' flagship movie project, add in the fact Alfred Molina who played Doc Oc in Spider-Man 2 is also thought to be in line for a role, and Justice League is beginning to look like a Sam Raimi Spider-verse reunion party.

All joking aside, though, this is another huge signing for Zack Snyder's movie. While BatmanSuperman may have been criticized for many things, the individual performances of the acting talent were impressive, and adding names like Simmons and Dafoe to the cast are only going to help that trend continue.

Justice League: Part One is released in theaters on Nov. 17, 2017, while Part Two is scheduled for release on June 14, 2019.
