The Guinness World Record Holder for Darth Vader Memorabilia Is the Real-Life Kylo Ren
Meet the real-life Kylo Ren, except for the evil part (we hope). Star Wars enthusiast Bill McBride is the current Guinness World Record holder for Darth Vader memorabilia, and while I have no idea who takes second place, I have a feeling he'll hold that record for quite a while. As of December, McBride owned 63,210 pieces of Star Wars paraphernalia--all celebrating the Chosen One.

Opening quote
"The first time I saw 'Star Wars' in the theater, I was about six years old and the moment that Darth Vader walked out on screen, I was just immediately taken with the character," McBride told Huffington Post. "Anything you can think of, there is a Darth Vader example for that and I own it."
Closing quote

The items in McBride's "Vader Vault," one of several rooms in his home devoted exclusively to the Sith Lord, include watches, piggy banks, card figures, check books, sweatshirts, roller skates, coffee makers and more, for the low, low price tag of $300,000. There's no word on whether he has a burned-out mask, but if he didn't in December, he probably does now.

He was always the #1 Darth Vader fan in the world, but in order to hold the official title, he needed to tally up and itemize all of his collector's items, which is a fairly gargantuan task. In order to finish the job, he enlisted the help of his wife, friends, and the DC Star Wars Club.

"I'm going to apologize in advance," he told volunteers at the time, "a lot of this stuff has been packed away for awhile so it'll be like Christmas." Are children who receive 63,210 Darth Vader toys on Santa's nice list or naughty list, do you think?
