Report: Star Wars: Episode VIII to Feature Princes William and Harry as Stormtroopers
Prince William and Harry got to live every Star Wars fan's dream last week when they had a tour of the Star Wars set, complete with lightsaber battles and hugs from Chewie. But according to a new report, they got even more than they bargained for, as they got to film cameo appearances in the next film.

Opening quote
"The line given was that they were going to have lunch and a private tour of the rest of the set," a source told the Daily Mail (via News.com.au) "What really happened is that the director came over and told them it was time to 'get suited' and off they went to the wardrobe department."
Closing quote

Supposedly, the two royals got to appear as Stormtroopers and film a scene with Rey, Finn, and Benicio del Toro's mystery villain character:

Opening quote
"The Princes dressed up in full Stormtrooper gear and filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base. The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicia del Toro's character when a group of Stormtroopers enter - two of whom are William and Harry."
Closing quote

This is still just an unconfirmed report for now, but if it's true, then the princes will be joining the ranks of several distinguished celebrities who have made appearances as Stormtroopers, including Kevin Smith, Radiohead's Nigel Goodrich, and of course, Daniel Craig, who vehemently denied being in the film before he was found out as the Stormtrooper who fell for Rey's Jedi mind trick.

Keep an eye out for the royals, and maybe Norman Reedus, when Star Wars: Episode VIII comes out on December 15, 2017.
