The First Trailer for Batman: The Killing Joke Is Here, and It's Chilling
The first trailer for the animated Killing Joke adaptation is here, and it already promises to be one of Mark Hamill's best Joker performances yet:

We had our doubts about this movie, but the trailer looks amazing. Many of the visuals are ripped straight from the comics (albeit slightly simplified, probably to make animation easier), the emotional stakes for Batman already seem appropriately high, and the Joker is scary as f*ck. And of, course, there's that R-rating, which was absolutely necessary to do this novel justice.

Our only qualm about adapting this classic Joker Batman story is, of course, the controversial treatment of Barbara Gordon. But luckily, we've already heard that her role will be expanded from the comics, particularly in a 15-minute prologue, which will hopefully remove the "fridging" implications and do her character more justice.
