Poll: Which Batman Villains Do You Want to See in Ben Affleck's Solo Movie?
Ben Affleck's recently announced Batman movie is already the most anticipated upcoming film in the DCEU, but as we all know, the most interesting thing about Batman is his array of adversaries. Batman's rogues' gallery is arguably unparalleled in comics, and the quality of Batman movies is roughly proportional to the effectiveness of their villains (The Dark Knight is a classic as a result of Heath Ledger's Joker, Dark Knight Rises was a jumbled disappointment because it had too many villains, and Batman v Superman wasn't ruined by Doomsday alone, but it certainly didn't help).

Now, a new rumor is circulating that Ben Affleck is looking to make the "definitive" Batman movie, featuring "many, if not most, members of Batman's rogues' gallery." But there are so many iconic Batman villains, it's actually still difficult to say who will be making an appearance. What do you think?

We can probably guess a few of the villains that Affleck will feel obligated to include. Since Joker and Harley Quinn have already been cast for Suicide Squad, they'll probably make cameos, and maybe Deadshot and Killer Croc as well. Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow, and Ra's Al Ghul are probably safe bets, and most likely Catwoman, since there are seemingly no qualms about coming off of recent performances. Personally, I hope we'll see Poison Ivy, Victor Zsasz, and the Court of Owls, but those aren't necessarily givens.

But the real question is whether we'll see Red Hood. Robin is clearly going to be a presence in the DCEU, and that Joker-graffitied Robin suit, as well as DC's apparent confirmation that Robin is Jason Todd, heavily implies that we'll be seeing a version of Death in the Family. However, early rumors have claimed that the first Batman film will not be an adaptation of Under the Red Hood, so it's possible that they're saving that for a later film, or that they're going another direction with Robin entirely. Who knows, maybe that insane rumor about Jared Leto's Joker will turn out to be entirely true.

The Batman solo film will be co-produced by Geoff Johns, and while no release date has been set, it is predicted to come out as early as 2018.
