Classic Arcade Games Get a Mutant Twist in Celebration of X-Men: Apocalypse
Bryan Singer has been taking us on something of a whistle-stop tour of different time periods in his latest X-Men trilogy. And with the 1980's about to get their own mutant infusion in X-Men: Apocalypse, 20th Century has released a new promo in the most 80's way possible.

The Retro-X Arcade features three classic 80's arcade games, all updated with a mutant twist. The games are all free to play, but they aren't exactly an immersive experience. Still, if you're a fan of the X-Men and your looking for a way to waste away a few minutes at work, I particularly recommend a a spin on Mutant All-Stars Track & Field.

These games are a precursor to what we're expecting to be a ton of nods to the 80's pop culture era. From the costumes (and haircuts) of Sophie Turner's Jean Grey and Lana Condor's Jubilee, to the easter eggs we've already seen in promo images, it looks like everyone's favorite retro decade is going to be its very own supporting character in Singer's latest movie. At least, that is until it all gets destroyed by Apocalypse himself.

Opening quote
Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
