The newest trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows was released today, and if the previous trailers didn't get you excited for this sequel to 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then this one probably won't either.

Not that I'm knocking the film, it's just that the new trailer doesn't offer much in terms of new footage. While the previous trailers have given us our first look at fan-favorite TV villain Krang, the new trailer omits Krang completely; barely showing us a glimpse of the Technodrome. So what fills the space instead? A lot of Michelangelo jokes, a kind of old school "meet the team" rundown - which if you don't know who the four Ninja Turtles are by now, then you ought to seriously reexamine some of your life choices - and a new airborne sequence that sees the turtles fall on top of a plane.

Other than that, there's a lot we've already seen. The first meeting between the Turtles and Bebop and Rocksteady; the first meeting between April O'Neil and Casey Jones, Shredder and his Wolverine claws, April wearing a sexy schoolgirl outfit for some reason, the turtles dodging a tank in a river in slow motion, etc. So while the trailer isn't terrible, it's just not terribly exciting. On the other hand, with a lot of trailers these days giving too much away (cough, Batman v Superman, cough), maybe TMNT holding back isn't such a bad thing. Check out the new trailer below.
