Last year's Star Wars Celebration was arguably the biggest event in the franchise's rich history. With the debut of that Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and multiple appearances from Star Wars royalty, Star Wars Celebration Anaheim successfully kicked the franchise into its new era of storytelling. 2016 sees Celebration traveling across the Atlantic for three days in London this July, but it's just been announced that ReedPop and Disney are bringing the show back to the US for 2017 with a 4 day event in Orlando, Florida.

After hosting the massive fan event two years in a row between 2010 and 2012, Orlando is finally getting another bite at the Star Wars Celebration apple. Since its inaugural event back in 1999 at Denver's Air and Space Museum, Star Wars Celebration has visited six different locations on three different continents, from Los Angeles to London to Chiba (Tokyo). After it was announced at Celebration 2015 that London would be hosting the 2016 event, it was widely expected Orlando would host the next event, especially given that Disney will be looking to tie-in the festivities with their hugely popular theme parks in the area. Now we've got confirmation, it's time to start planning your trip....

Celebration Orlando will be held at the Orange County Convention Center from April 13-17. Tickets for the event go on sale on May 25th at 3pm ET, and if the last two years are anything to go by, full weekend passes will sell out quickly, so be sure you don't leave it too late.
