Ryan Reynolds Lends a Tiny Fetus Hand to the Hilarious Deadpool Honest Trailer
Screen Junkies has outdone themselves this time. We almost didn't want to watch an Honest Trailer for Deadpool, since we loved it so f*cking much, but this might be the best one yet, because it not only reminds us of everything we loved about it (and the few things we didn't), but features none other than Ryan Reynolds in a fourth-wall-breaking cameo, because of course it does:

This Honest Trailer gets off to a good start, reminding us that Deadpool was groundbreaking and grossed more domestically than Thor, Captain America, all of the X-Men movies, and even fellow oddball Guardians of the Galaxy (not to mention Batman v Superman, which is just embarrassing). It's also not shy about calling the film out on its juvenile sense of humor, and points out that it was trying to subvert superhero tropes while its plot was entirely conventional (calling the romance between Vanessa and Wade a "conventional love story" is a bit of a stretch, but the revenge plot was definitely by-the-numbers, so point well-taken).

And that's when the trailer gets the most meta, because Ryan Reynolds pops in for a cameo, or more like an expletive-filled tirade against any and all criticisms (except for the South Park comparisons, he's okay with that). He shows up to promote the film's Blu-ray release, "like anyone still buys those glorified f*cking drink coasters."

Deadpool is now available on Blu-ray and DVD, and click here to watch the Honest Commentary for this trailer, featuring Reynolds once again.
